Terms

Earshot is commercial software. Installing or running it means you accept the licence agreement that ships with it.

What you may do

Use it on any Mac you own or control, for anything including paid work, for as long as you like. Free features stay free. Pro features need a key.

Keys

A key is issued to a person and covers as many Macs as it has seats. Each Mac takes one seat the first time you paste the key, and renews it about once a month. In between, the check runs on your own machine, so a plane, a dead connection or a bad afternoon for this website does not stop you working. Please do not share it: it carries the address it was issued to, the app shows that address, and the seats are counted.

Refunds

Fourteen days, no questions. Email us and we will refund it. A refunded key stops taking new seats straight away, and the Macs already running it stop when the seat they hold runs out, which can be another six weeks. That is not instant and we are not going to describe it as if it were.

No warranty

Provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Speech recognition makes mistakes; do not use it where a misheard word would cause harm.

The full agreement ships with the app as LICENSE.md. Governed by the laws of Romania.
